SGI President Ikeda’s Peace Proposal issued

On January 26th, the president of the Soka Gakkai International (SGI), Daisaku Ikeda, issued the annual peace proposal.

The Proposal, on the theme of ‘Value Creation in a Time of Crisis’, calls for international cooperation on the crises facing the world, including the existential threat of nuclear weapons. He welcomed the arrival of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons as a “pivotal event ushering in a new era”.
